Artist Resume and Experience

Joanna trained professionally to draw and paint in oils in the classical realism style at the Florence Academy of Art in Florence, Italy (2017-2020). Joanna has attended oil painting and drawing classes and workshops in Cape Town, New York, London and Singapore. Joanna conducts workshops and one-on-one and small group art mentoring and tuition.

Before training and transitioning to a professional painter, Joanna was a Change Management Consultant and Human Resources professional. Joanna has an Honours degree in Business Science, majoring in Organisational Psychology, from the University in Cape Town, South Africa (2002) and has a variety of career coaching certifications.
